The Parish Council normally meets on the first Tuesday in each month except in August when there are no meetings. The Finance and General Purposes Committee normally meets on the third Tuesday in each month except in August and December. The Parish Events Committee meets quarterly and the Personnel Committee and Appeals Committee meet as required.
Coronavirus
Under the provisions of The Local Authorities and Police and Crime Panels (Coronavirus) (Flexibility of Local Authority and Police and Crime Panel Meetings) (England and Wales) Regulations 2020 the Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Council along with Chairmen and Vice-Chairmen of any Council committees will continue to serve in these roles during the 2020/21 municipal year. The above Regulations empower parish councils to hold meetings remotely. The Parish Council will publicize any remote meetings by publishing the usual notices including details of how the public may participate in such meetings. However, the normal calendar of meetings was suspended during April, May, and June 2020.
